I have over 30 years of experience in residential construction and have worked with some of Alberta’s respected home builders before going on my own.  Projects I work on involve 3D spatial awareness and a passion for architecture, which are both traits that I possess.  Designing and illustrating new homes & home renovations is both a career and hobby for me.

I started out as a teenager drawing and building a model of my dream home.  Then I got some formal education in architectural design and drafting.  After that I joined the work force starting as an estimator doing material take-offs.  Then moved on to residential design and drafting.  I also gained valuable experience in doing floor and wall panel design and collaborating with roof truss designers, engineers, and surveyors.

Working with my client’s sketches and/or ideas I design functional layouts with aesthetically pleasing elevations.  I model all my projects in 3D for better understanding and visual representation.
